Vince Docherty has put up a stub on Wikipedia for Chris Boyce — is there anyone in Glasgow fandom who could expand it within Wikipedia’s usage guidelines?

I am getting more than a little tired of this pain. Lie down, sit down, stand up, walk — it doesn’t matter, I’m in pain, pretty much all over, although the back and chest pain is worst now. The costochondritis-type pain hasn’t bothered me for ages, but it’s back. It is, of course, also making me literally tired, since it is interfering with sleep. Bugger.

We did make it to Ronnie Scott’s (that just doesn’t sound right — I keep thinking jazz) talk on the Necropolis last night. It was interesting, but the transport hassles yesterday (the Subway shut down at about 18:10 yesterday because of “an incident at Bridge Street station” — whatever was going on, nothing has been reported in the press) meant that getting there and back took longer than it otherwise would have, with no opportunity to get some food before the talk, so it was a long and tiring day in the end.

I need to try to rest today and tomorrow so that I am up for Trout on Thursday, but that is not easy when it is impossible to find anything approaching comfort.

Witchfest Scotland will take place in Glasgow on Saturday 8th July, this year moving to a much better venue, The Arches in Argyle Street (under the Hielanman’s Umbrella). As usual, there will be a selection of talks and workshops, stalls, an alternative fashion show, and entertainment in the evening. The new venue means that there will be no more sweltering, near-sauna like rooms, and the food available is vastly improved; there also will be no racket from the Orange Lodge thundering past. :o)

As always, Witchfest Scotland is organised by the Hearth pub moot (see Glasgow Moots for more information) in association with Children of Artemis.
