I feel like shit.

Eyes burning, head hot and feeling as though it’s been forcibly filled with cotton wool, muscles all around me chest aching... not good. Dizzy when I move too fast, too; and you would be astonished how slowly “too fast” is. More than a bit shivery, too.

All of which is a real bugger as tomorrow is the Eostre blót, which is always good. Damn, damn, damn.

I really feel like crawling into bed and leaving the VCR to grab Doctor Who. I won’t, of course, but it says something about how rough I feel that I am even considering that. The Joy of Sax has just come on Radio 3. Normally I rather like the sax, but right now I am completely in the “ill wind that nobody blows good” camp. Oh, my head...

Still, rather be grotty this weekend than last.

Oh hun. Watch the Doctor and then pack yourself off to your pit. I do hope that you can make the blot tomorrow - it will do you the power of good, and if not, well we can shove you on a pyre.

Get better soon Dee. Lots of love and light and energy speeding your way.

Ah, yes, the “set him on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life” approach. ;o)

Thanks; if at all possible, we’ll makte it tomorrow.

Wow indeed. Yes, references to Jamie and a wee nod to Curse of Peladon. Good fight sequence, too.

Hope you are feeling better after your bad experience.

And a reference back to 'Bad Wolf', as part of the continuing 'Torchwood' thing.

Also interesting was Victoria's reference to the really flip/trivial way the Doctor and Rose were treating things - they subsequently went on to continue this, so it's being done consciously by the writers. I wonder where that's leading?

Yes, I was just ignoring the references to the Eccleston/Tennant series, I assumed everyone would spot them. ;o)

I, too, was interested by the flippancy thing; that could lead into interesting territory.

Incidentally, I thought the look of the episode was excellent. Very filmic.
