I feel like shit.
Eyes burning, head hot and feeling as though it’s been forcibly filled with cotton wool, muscles all around me chest aching... not good. Dizzy when I move too fast, too; and you would be astonished how slowly “too fast” is. More than a bit shivery, too.
All of which is a real bugger as tomorrow is the Eostre blót, which is always good. Damn, damn, damn.
I really feel like crawling into bed and leaving the VCR to grab Doctor Who. I won’t, of course, but it says something about how rough I feel that I am even considering that. The Joy of Sax has just come on Radio 3. Normally I rather like the sax, but right now I am completely in the “ill wind that nobody blows good” camp. Oh, my head...
Still, rather be grotty this weekend than last.

Date: 2006-04-22 12:51 pm (UTC)Also interesting was Victoria's reference to the really flip/trivial way the Doctor and Rose were treating things - they subsequently went on to continue this, so it's being done consciously by the writers. I wonder where that's leading?

Incidentally, I thought the look of the episode was excellent. Very filmic.
