Very sad news

Just learned via a Facebook post that Ewan Chrystal is dead. That is very sad news. He was a lovely man, one of the people I always looked forward to seeing at Eastercon. Really won't be the same without him.

Being a newbie to the convention circuit I wasn't fortunate enough to meet the man but it's clear through many, many threads on the web that he must have been one of the good ones!

One of the good ones: yes, that's exactly what I thought when I saw cobrabay's post on Facebook: we've lost one of the good ones.
