After quite a rough patch this evening (I got quite cold as a result of the wind today, despite wearing what I thought were warm clothes, and that triggered a major worsening of the ME symptoms; fortunately short-lived), I am feeling rather better.

Watched Torchwood. More by accident than design. There were a couple of decent, brief scenes, but the whole thing... It made no sense, no sense whatever.

I met my friend R. last night, and at one point I mentioned how very disappointing Torchwood was. She said she had heard it was quite good; Surely, she said, it can't be as bad as Robin Hood?

No. And it is quite depressing that that remains the one positive thing I can say about it.

I'm with you on Torchwood, after biting my tongue for a couple of weeks this episode just left me going ungh! in the bad way. How does anyone get paid to write such utter nonsense, not to mention that the characters seem like different people every second week. I'm starting to think they need ONE full time writer at least for a couple of episodes to try and build some foundations.

Try neil Perryman's review on the Behind the sofa collaborative blog. He runs the blog and last night was the last straw.
